Yes, yes payback is a bitch. I somehow just KNEW that someone would do something like this, with a human coming out of a xeno the way a xeno would. Follows rule 35 of the internet, when taken in context with rule 34 of the internet.

AMEN. Thank God someone remembers those...and the duties of the geeky population to uphold them using whatever skill they happen to posses. ;)

Yeah. The only discrepancy is the wording of rules 34 and 35 were changed, but the principle applies.

Exactly. And when it comes to following something to the letter or by principle, it's usually best to go on the latter. That's why politics gets so fucking nuts.

My favourite joke:

"An atheist and a Christian walk into a bar...and sit down and have pleasant conversation because they're not pretentious assholes."

;)

Not too bad. I stay out of religion and politics, because they are sure-fire shitstorms, no matter what you do.

Amen (irony). Especially when you start in perfectly innocently with someone you trust is logically minded. As soon as you make that assumption, you can guarantee you're gonna fight. I like to switch subjects to "Who was a better captain, Kirk or Picard?" Equally dangerous shitstorm, but at least its humourous and you'll probably not lose the entire friendship or get in a fistfight.

(...my response is original series overall, Picard as captain. That usually confuses the issue enough to buy me time to flee.)

Thanks! There are all kinds of references online for their skeletal and musculature systems...for an imaginary species, a lot of people are heavily invested in representing them accurately, so I'm glad I could. ;)

True, though Aliens seems always to be a bit more in background regarding the fanbase it seems that the Xenos have more persistent fans than Halo for example. Many good ideas came up over the years, though I prefer sticking to my own ideas of how they work and look in detail. Each artist kinda developed his own style of how they should look like. I really like how your looks like!

Absolutely...a big chunk of being an artist is recreating subjects and motifs already seen, but making them compelling in some new forme such that the intended audience is still interested in seeing the work. You're very smart to realise and accept such a fact as admirable instead of an incapability to stick to the original mould. And thank you! Do you have any Xenos of your own? I apologize if I missed some in my initial browsing of your gallery. :P

It's easy to copy something, but to put it into a new light and add your own style at it is something I really appreciate in arts. It's also more fun to draw if you can add details you think would let the original design look better, so thanks! =)

And thanks for checking my gallery! I got only those Xenos here [link] in my gallery and some in my scrapbook but unfortunately they're all kinda old due to more urgent things I had to draw, but I plan to draw new ones and photoshop them soon ^^

I completely agree...interpretation is such a fun element of being an artist, especially an illustrator. It always boggled me when people merely copied ideas and content without adding their own spin; that's what makes a piece interesting! :)

Your gallery is very cool...I hadn't been on here for quite some time (I will be uploading art created during my hiatus later in the week if you'd like to check it out and give any feedback), but your new dinosaurs are fantastic and I REALLY love the Alien loves Halo. Fantastic. XD

The dinosaurs and prehistoric animals are all speedies (about 30min to 2h per piece) I had to do for an university project who's going into my portfolio. And the Alien loves Halo thing was a sketch I photoshopped a bit just for fun since it was floating around in my head for quite some time ^^
But I'm glad you like them along with my gallery! I haven't much time for "own" drawings at the moment though, but I hope that'll change soon.

I'll check your new drawings for sure as soon as I'll get myself some free time! You got some great art there that deserves a closer look :D

Very very cool work! You do a very varied and interesting amount of work; I'm excited to see what happens when you're given free time and get to pull your own ideas out and create! Take care and enjoy my new postings when you have some time to relax! ^_^

And yeah, I drew one a while back for a sketch group I'm part of--your's is far better, though.

Lmao. I'm glad you know what the heck I'm talking about it. My art teachers just stare and tell me I'm an idiot. They're all bollocks'd into thinking entertainment and art can't coexist, though. Silly art school. ;)

That's bull. Video games have some of the most imaginative and detailed art in them, after all.

That and comics are what I most pay attention to, even in an academic sense. Who says something can't be entertaining and have high-level thinking symbology or photo-realistic perspective?
