Nom! Those would never come out of my lobes because they would go with so many outfits. The rings kind of look like the teeth on zippers, giving it a cool mechanical but feminine look.

Awesome! :D I do have to vouch...they're remarkably comfortable to wear. ^_^ I'm glad you like them! They were my in-between piece while I finished up Melt and began Reliquary, which I have yet to post (because I'm still waiting on Swarovski from England, gr). I'm really glad the gear theme translated...I was kind of trying for a Mardi Gras meets Art Deco and had a ever-so-slightly steampunk jewelry lovechild. ;)

I think England is a bit busy with the Olympics. hehe. :) Since when does steampunk need to be dark 24/7? It's time for the good ol' sp to flash a bit more color, done properly of course. ;) They do have weight to them in the photo, yet if they are light to the wearer, BONUS!! XD

Lmao, I was just thinking that. ^_^ And I fully agree! Just because Victorian pictures were taken in black and white didn't mean there was an absence of colour in the world before Kodak broke out the full-spectrum boxies. ;) And yes, I try to make my work as wearable as possible...I don't wear it much, but I'm a big fan of forme and function coexisting nicely. Especially when the forme is an accessory! :)
